Product Description

Agarose XP is specially purified for separating and recovering DNA fragments.

Features

・Low melting point: ≤ 65°C (1.5%) ・Low EEO・DNase free, RNase free・Recommended Gel Concentration:　1 - 4 %・Nucleic Acid Fragment Separation Range:　10 bp - 20 kbp・Very economical because fragments of almost all the size can be electrophoresed.

Applications

• Gel Electrophoresis for separation of short chain fragments: 2.5 % Agarose XP gel (50 bp - 1000 bp DNA)
• Gel Electrophoresis for separation of long chain fragments: 1 % Agarose XP gel (1 kb - 20 kb DNA)
• Recovered DNA^*1
• Pulsed-Field Electrophoresis (1 - 2,000 kbp)
• Blotting

*1 Recovered DNA from preparative Agarose gels is checked that it can be used for downstream applications (cleavage by restriction endonucleases, ligation by T4 DNA ligase, E. coli transformation by ligated DNA.)

Usage

Recommended Gel Concentration

• 2.5 % gel in TAE buffer or TBE buffer (50 bp - 1000 bp DNA)
• 1 % gel in TAE buffer or TBE buffer (1 kb - 20 kb DNA)

M1: Marker 1 (λ/Hind III digest)
M2: Marker 2 (λ/Hind III・EcoR I double digest)
M3: Marker 3 (λ/Hind III+λ/EcoR I digest mixture)
M6: Marker 6 (λ/Sty I digest)
